The new board for Powertalk Otago 2022-2023 year was fabulously installed by Sandra with a confectionary theme. Congratulations to the new board and thank you Sandra for a wonderful Installation.

Speeches tonight were on any aspect of the Olympics. An interesting variety of topics. Here is our TV commentator (Compere) Denise presenting competitor (speaker) Sandra with her Olympic bouquet.

What a privilege to have Barbara Henderson-Wragge from Waitakere Powertalk to install our Board for the 2021-2022 year. What a fun evening.

Powertalk Otago Speech Contest was held tonight and congratulations to our seven contestants for top quality speeches making as the judges said their task extremely hard. A very close contest.

We were pleased to have Laura Wells from Suitcase Theatre at our 6th October "Pink" meeting to talk about the journey of taking the Dear B***s book to the Stage.

$100 was raised during the evening for The Dear B***s Project, so thank you to our generous members and guests.

The Powertalk Otago members enjoyed the insight Laura provided into the Dunedin community theatre scene and the challenges faced with COVID this year.
