Trinity Catholic College is a modern co-educational Year 7-13 college in the centre of Dunedin, New Zealand. We have students from many different backgrounds and run a strong international programme which hosts students from over ten countries. Our students live with well selected homestay families, to ensure that they have a safe 'real kiwi family' experience. The school is situated just a 5 minute walk from the city centre, the University of Otago and Te Pukenga Otago Polytechnic campuses. Our facilities include five science laboratories, a library, gymnasium, dance studio, drama suite, three computer laboratories, engineering workshops and an auditorium and fitness studio. Sport and culture form a major part of school activities, for international and kiwi students. Major sports played include netball, basketball, rugby, soccer, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, cricket, skiing, and golf. There are senior and junior choirs, two orchestras and the opportunity for public speaking and debating. We perform a major dramatic or musical production each year, which is open for all students to be involved in. In addition to these activities, our students can take part in weekend trips, such as hiking in the mountains, mountain biking, surfing and skiing and there are school camps that may involve horse riding, rock climbing or mountain biking. Living in Otago gives students opportunities to try amazing new things, all right on our doorstep – Where else could a student be up a ski-field within a few hours?
