A Science Lesson That Was Out of This World!

9S and 9T, are currently learning about space in their Astronomy unit.

One of our recent lessons involved creating a model solar system. The boys worked in groups of three to colour in and cut out the planets, as well as determine the correct distances from the sun to fit on a 30m tape measure.

They headed outside to the Quad to set up their models. Once back in the classroom, they discussed the strengths and limitations of their model.

Thinking about boarding for 2028 or beyond?

With our boarding house currently at capacity and extremely strong demand for future places, we encourage families to attend one of our upcoming Country Visits in July.

These visits are a great opportunity for you and your son to meet Rector Richard Hall and Director of Boarding Lance Taylor in an informal setting, learn more about boarding life, and ask any questions you may have while giving us a chance to get to know your son ahead of the application process.

Attending a Country Visit isn't a commitment to OBHS - it's simply an opportunity to start exploring the option early.
