Kā mihi nui/a big thank you to Brockville School as they have given us a cricket set to borrow.

Last week Craig from the Orokonui Ecosanctuary came to kindergarten and introduced us to the endangered species in Aotearoa/New Zealand. As well as showing us how to track animals, he also set a tracking tunnel in the top garden. He came back today and we discovered that a hedgehog is active in our property. We identified which animal had made the tracks (with the ink inside the tunnel) by studying all the footprints on the sheet Craig had. A great learning experience for us all!
