Due to the weather conditions, today's Cross Country has been postponed.

The event will now be held on Friday 14 August.

Year 7 & 8 Hockey Cancelled – Friday 31 July

Due to the severe weather forecast, including heavy rain, strong winds, and the possibility of snow in some areas, today's Year 7 & 8 hockey fixtures have been cancelled.

The safety of our students, coaches, officials, and supporters is always our top priority, and with the expected conditions, this is the safest decision.

Thank you to everyone for your understanding and cooperation. Stay safe, keep warm, and we look forward to getting back out on the turf soon.

Final Reminder – Badminton Registrations Close Tomorrow

A reminder to all families that Badminton registrations close tomorrow (Tuesday) night. Team entries will be submitted to Badminton Otago on Wednesday morning, so if your child would like to play this term, please ensure they are registered before the deadline. Unfortunately, late registrations may not be able to be accommodated once entries have been sent.

We're incredibly proud to celebrate two of our own, Daniel Genever and Josh Jamison, who are representing New Zealand at the Youth World Cup New York 2026.

This is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment Daniel and Josh have shown to their football over many years. Competing against talented young players from 48 countries at one of the world's premier youth football tournaments is an incredible opportunity and an experience they will never forget.

Everyone at Tahuna Intermediate wishes Daniel and Josh all the very best as they continue their football journey on the international stage. We know you'll represent your families, your teams, your school and New Zealand with pride.

"The weather forecast has reasonable temperatures and occasional rain for today. We are going to proceed with hockey today."

All games will go ahead as scheduled. Please ensure players come prepared for the conditions with warm clothing and a waterproof jacket if needed.
