Kadodo Music - Drum and Dance School Kadodo Music is a Drum and Dance School based in New Zealand led by Master drummer Robert 'Koffie' F

I (Koffie) am an African drum and dance teacher and have been teaching professionally for the last 15 years. A lot of my teaching has influences from the western part of Africa, and particularly Ghana, which is where I come from.

‘Kadodo’ represents my desire to connect people throughout the country and unite them through our love for music and movement. The concept of Kadodo orginated in Abor, in the Volta region of Ghana, where traditional music and dance play a big part in our everyday lives. Since making New Zealand my home in 2013, I have been running workshops and classes in schools and communities across the country. I love working with children and thoroughly enjoy finding opportunities to share my love of African drumming and dance, especially with kiwi kids. I hope to inspire all you wonderful people to experience music (and musicality!) like never before. From schools to corporate building workshops, community groups to festivals, I tailor my workshops to suit any audience and cater my teaching style to all ages.
