This week at Busy Bumbles Fairfield our theme was Bugs and Insects. With our theme tamariki enjoyed in the morning playing games such as Mafia, Octopus and Broken Telephone and Ant Tag

In the afternoon they enjoyed a scavenger hunt to find bugs around the school, they also enjoyed playing games like flowers and bugs with pool noodles, they also enjoyed creating a caterpillar after going on a hunt for their perfect stick, we also did a nectar relay race where the tamariki had to transport nectar (water) on a spoon to their bowl try and fill it up first. To wrap up our week we watched A Bugs Life for our movie.

It was also Wacky Hair day at Fairfield Primary School so the Busy Bumbles Staff Hannah and Rebekah enjoyed participating in the school event.

Term 3 week 6 -7: Red, Red, Red & Superheroes!

Over the last two weeks our tamariki at Busy Bumbles Fairfield really enjoyed themselves. We have enjoyed making cards for our superheroes and playing games like Red light Green light with our themes of the week.

To end our week we watched Cars for Red Red Red and The Incredibles for Superhero week.

Weeks 8's theme is Bugs & Insects. We look forward to seeing everyone all.

This week our tamariki are watching 'Cars' for our Friday Movie to go with our theme of "Red, Red, Red."

Term 3 week 5 2026: All about Yellow.

We have had a wonderful week here at Busy Bumbles Fairfield, the children really enjoyed themselves. During the morning we play games such as Mafia, Lemon, Lemon, Pineapple (Duck, Duck, Goose), Cosmic Kids Yoga: Pikachu Edition the kids really enjoyed getting involved and playing these games.

The After School children enjoyed things like being outside and playing a relay race with paper bananas. The have also being enjoying listening to music and having fun dancing around.

To end our week our movie and popcorn was: Inside Out 2.

Next week is Week 6 and our theme is: Red, Red, Red ♥️🍒.
