Busy Bumbles Fairfield

Happy Friday everyone - what a very busy last 2 weeks it's been at our venue - last 2 weeks our themes have been: Friendship Central and this week (week 3) has been Creation Week.

The children have had lots of fun creating and making things over last 2 weeks as well as lots of outside play too while we had nice weather , not to mention the Snow ❄️ day we had this week on Tuesday in Dunedin 😊.

We watched the Peanuts Movie 🍿🎥 with popcorn to end our week this afternoon.

Next week our theme is : Children's Pick.
Our morning children have chosen some fun games to play during Before School Care, our Afternoon children will get to choose on Monday afternoon.

This week our Friday movie choice as voted by our children is: The Peanuts Movie ... The children will enjoy this movie 🎬 aswell as some yummy 😋 popcorn 🍿 😋

Welcome to term 3 😀 everyone. We hope everyone had an amazing 2 week holiday and or had lots of fun at our holiday programme 😀. We are happy to see all our children back after the holidays - let's have a fantastic term 3 for Before School Care 🏫 and After School Care 🏫 🤗🤩.

PJ and Pancake Day

We have had a wonderful day 😊 of the last day at the Holiday program..

We made some really awesome 'Spinners' this morning and played 'Simon Says Draw'.

In the afternoon we did some fun balloon 🎈 games and relays , we also played 'Keep it Up' and another fun game called 'Pancake Head ' .

To end the day the children got to enjoy a yummy pancake or 2 and watch a cool movie 🎥.. Toy Story 4 .

What an awesome holidays its been, the children have been wonderful 👍. , great behavior throughout the holiday programme 😀 We got to meet some new families and there children, few was there very very first time with us...i got alot of great feedback from parents these holidays 🤩🥰. Alot have said they'll definitely be back next holidays & that there child or children have been excited to come each day and want to come back again and again 🤗🤗 so wonderful hear this feedback and know that we are doing well for them all 🤗.

Our movie day was absolutely 💯 % well actually 110% perfect 👌 the children were sooo amazing 👏 and behaved exceptionally well on this outing , means we can definitely do this again and of course all holidays we've had great behavior too 😀. Such a an awesome bunch of children we have had 😁😁.

Thankyou to all my other staff members who have worked along side me these holidays too, we've had a great team 💙 I have throughly enjoyed running the holiday programme , been amazing 😉😀

Have a wonderful term 3 everyone 😀. I look forward to seeing you all next holidays and lots more new families too 😊 😀 we look forward to seeing all our Before school & After School Care children from next Monday 20th July too in our new space 🤩.

Mid Winter ❄️☃️ Christmas 🎄🎁 Day

We have had lots of fun today for our mid Winter Christmas day theme.

This morning the children made these really neat snow ❄️ paint pictures .
The children made really awesome Snowman Poppers (absolutely loved those and having the joy of popping pom poms too 😁).

We played a funny Kooky Christmas challenge drawing game - the children had 11 instructions to follow (been read out by myself) but they had to draw without using there hands ✋️ 🤭.

After lunch the children enjoyed a yummy cookie 🍪 which they decorated with few different icing colours 😀 they loved these for sure..YUMO 😋

We also played a fun Christmas game called Winter Storm with Christmas cards - had to blow cards over by try to get them only half of the table not completely off 😉.

What a fun day for mid winter Christmas 🎄 it was 🤗

Happy Camper Day

We have certainly been at camp today with all these amazing activities

The children made awesome Buntings to hang up They made some really awesome Thumbprint Ant Art , the children decided to do there own versions of creating ants 🐜 😀 We added googly eyes to them aswell and they designed neat boards to put their Ants on.

We played few fun games such as 'Red Light Green Light ', 'Duck Duck Goose' and 'Hot Dog🌭 Tag'

The children even enjoyed some really nice herbal tea ☕... some had Raspberry & Strawberry tea, some had Tropical Tea and some had Peach & Pineapple... we had lots of mix reviews of the tea tasting from the children 🤭.

It was a very very busy day today at Busy Bumbles Fairfield Camp.... today was our biggest day eg the number of children we had 😁🤗.

Minion's & Monsters

Today was our movie 🎥 day at Reading Cinemas ...we went and saw Minions and Monsters with popcorn 🍿.
The children were all Soo amazzzing and absolutely awesome 👍 whilst at the movies.

In the afternoon back at the venue we had some lunch, played Sardines and had a some free play outside at playground and played 'Pin Eye On The Minion.

We have had a great day 😊
