⚽Fairfield's Sylvie Haig plays for New Zealand!
While many teenagers were enjoying the July school holidays, 15-year-old Sylvie Haig was representing New Zealand at the Secondary Schools Under-16 Tour in Melbourne.
The Queen's High School student helped New Zealand win all four matches, scored a goal, and was one of only four South Island players selected for the national squad! 🌟
From years of hard work to representing, Sylvie shares what it took to earn her place, her highlights from Australia, and her advice for young footballers chasing their dreams.

On Sunday August 16th from 11am - 2pm, Interact’s Pre-Loved Clothing sale will be back on! Head over to the school hall and come enjoy the event!
All proceeds will be put into our ‘Angel Funds’ Kiva account, where the money will then be used to support independent women in third world countries. All clothing is priced between $2 and $15. Don’t miss out - come and shop for a good cause!

🏑❄️ With icy conditions keeping us indoors this morning, our hockey girls trained hard in the gym before heading to Breakfast Club for a well earned hot chocolate and breakfast. ☕🥣

The Dance Project is on Tuesday, August 11th, at 6:00pm at Logan Park High School. Performances include ākonga from Logan Park High School, Bayfield High School, Otago Girls’ High School, Queen’s High School, and a special guest performance from Zone One Varsity Crew!
