It is Social Justice Week at SPC, and our students have been reflecting on various issues and how we are called to respond with compassion, courage and service.

We stand alongside others and take action in ways that uphold the dignity of every person. We made precious rocks to celebrate that we are made in God's image and cleaned up our community - rocking it at the memorial garden! 🪴

Well done to our team of Year 5 & 6 children who gave it their all at the Greater Green Island Cross Country this week. We were so proud of their effort and determination. Ka pai! Abel, Evan, Coen, Jeremy, Anara, Grace and Ruby represented our school with pride. Congratulations to those who have made it through to the Otago Champs! 🏃🏽🏃🏻‍♀️

Kia Orāna kōtou kātoatoa! Last week was Cook Island Language Week. We celebrated with a wonderful visitor who shared all about the Cook Islands. We picked up some language, danced, learned a little bit about her trip to the Commonwealth games and played some new games! 🌺 A big thank you to Charleen for her mahi 💕

SCHOOL IS NOW CLOSED FOR TODAY

All primary and intermediate schools, and DKA Dunedin Kindergartens between Mosgiel to Port Chalmers to Waikouaiti are now closed because of adverse weather conditions for Tuesday the 4th of August.

Due to snow and treacherous road conditions, we have a late 10am start today, 4th August.

All primary and intermediate schools and DKA Dunedin Kindergarten between Mosgiel to Port Chalmers to Waikouaiti have a delayed 10am start this morning.
