Check out the huge garlic cloves and bulbs we got from Grow Yours. I am very impressed with the quality and can't wait to see how the grow. We also have some Kakanui cloves coming from another supplier so am looking forward to those as well. So much has been happening at Your Neighbour's Garden that there is too much for one post. This is meant to be our slow season and it is turning out to be anything but. Keep an eye out for more of what we are up to in our next post.

Wow, was it ever cold this morning. We have the perfect pick me up to add to your cheese boards as you hunker down in your home tonight. Check out our Quince Jelly and Quince paste on the stall at 147 Glenpark Avenue, Maryhill, Dunedin.

We now have a wide range of preserves from chutney's, jams, jellies, a range of marmalades and fruit butters. These are made with local ingredients, grown in our garden when at all possible.

Morning tea will be on tomorrow morning in the bottom garden. Come and see the progress of our new greenhouse. The fire will be going and we are planning to plant brassica seeds to keep up the supply into spring. 147 Glenpark Avenue from 10am-12pm.

New blog out today - Now the temperatures have dropped and the days are shorter, it is definitely time to think about growing your own garlic.

Pop out and see us at the Wingatui Carnival. Beautiful day and many talented stallholders.

We are pleased to offer more preserves on our stall at 147 Glenpark Avenue, Maryhill. We will be adding Apple and Mint Jelly and Orange Apple Marmalade. The Orange Marmalade is a lot sweeter than our Lemon Apple Marmalade, so if that is your thing check it out.

We are excited to also have our Waitati Raw Bush Honey on the stall again. As many of you will know, the last honey season was awful. The Bush Honey will be a limited offering.

If you are planning on popping out to The Wingatui Twilight Carnival you can catch up with us at our stall on the Sunday.
We will have new children's aprons, wonderful hot water bottle covers to snuggle with, and of course all our preserves and honey.

We have Muscari (Grape Hyacinth) for sale on the stall at the moment. All growing well with healthy foliage for an early spring display.
They look good paired with Crocus, Tulips, Daffodils and Primroses and they all share similar soil and light needs.
