You should be aware that if you use the Student Desktop, there may be intermittent disruptions to service between 9am and 9pm on Saturday 15 April. Mac OS X clients may need to reconnect following the upgrade of the High Capacity Storage system.

Blackboard will be out of action from 9am on Wednesday 19 April until 9am on Friday 21 April. This is for an upgrade, and there will be no access to Blackboard during this time.

In July - yes, I know it's a long way away - the Distance Learning Office is running a Study Support Day for Distance Students in Auckland. This is an opportunity for students from the top of the North Island to get together with other students, and to meet some of the University staff who can provide guidance for academic issues.
