Halfway Bush Kindergarten

Halfway Bush Kindergarten Our focus is to provide a welcoming, friendly learning environment for our tamariki. We close for statutory holidays and five teacher-only days during the year.

We are inclusive and flexible within our setting, and embrace all the cultures of our community and different learning styles of our tamariki. Session Times Available for 2 - 6 years
Monday to Friday
ALL DAY 8.30 - 2.30
Half Days also available 8.30 - 12.30

We operate all year, from mid-January until just prior to Christmas.

We're providing all the yummy food, and everyone is welcome to join the fun. Come in your comfiest PJs!

Emergency closure.

In line with our local school and due to worsening weather, and dangerous road conditions we are closing at 10am. Please come and collect your children when you can.

Drive safe as Salmond Street is a bit slippy with snow and sleet.

Through science exploration our tamariki used problem solving techniques with the Brain Box and experimented with energy and forces using kites. These experiences supported Te Whāriki, Mana Aotūroa, building curiosity, teamwork and working theories.
