WOW! We could not be prouder of our amazing students who took to the stage at the Otago Polyfest on Wednesday, 9th September. Both Te Tuakana Kapa Haka Rōpū o te Kura o Okaihae and Te Teina Kapa Haka Rōpū o te Kura o Okaihae blew us away with their incredible performances. The dedication and heart our performers brought to the stage truly made our school proud. A massive thank you to our wonderful Whānau supporters who helped dress, prepare, and cheer on our groups. Your support makes trips and events like these possible!

Due to a very busy week with Polyfest and some very tired children, there will be NO SCHOOL ASSEMBLY TOMORROW afternoon.

The country comes to town 🐑

Whats lovely spring feel there was at school today. As well as bike maintenance and Kapa Haka practice at lunchtime today there was art club in the hall scooter octopus with Ilai (the Green Island youth worker) basketball with Nikita and for those who like quiet play, chess, reading and bingo in the library. Bikes are very popular at the moment along with soccer on the bottom field, flying fix and infinity tag. These kids were too quick for me to take a photo!
