As Samoan language week comes to a close, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Aylah, Theo, and their family for generously sharing their Samoan culture with us. We have loved learning about Samoan traditions, language, and customs, and we are grateful for the time and effort you put into helping us celebrate and appreciate your culture. Fa'afetai tele lava for enriching our learning and making this week so special.
Mr Filipo taught us the traditional Samoan process of coconut scrapping

The faces say it all! Much excitement hopping into the school van and heading down to the Dunedin Town Hall for the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra’s Relaxed concert this morning. Josh’s favourite part was watching and listening to the trumpets, Erin loved seeing her instrument (cello) being played and Lilith loved dancing to the music.
