Did you know we offer private tutoring through Zoom? 💻✨

As a parent, I know how busy afternoons can be! One of the best things about online tutoring is that children can learn from the comfort of their own home, without having to rush out the door. While they’re busy learning, you can get dinner started, catch up on jobs around the house, or simply enjoy one less thing to organise.

The kids love logging on from home, and it’s a great way to fit extra learning into busy family life. 🌟

🎉 We are officially fully booked for our 2026 School Readiness Classes! Thank you so much for your incredible support.

With 2026 now full, I’ve opened our 2027 Expression of Interest waitlist.

We’ve already had families enquiring about Term 1, 2027, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us, simply complete the form via the link in our bio. This will place you on our waitlist on a first come, first served basis.

I’ll be in touch closer to the time to confirm class placements, and there’s absolutely no obligation if your plans change, you can simply let me know. Completing the form doesn’t lock you into anything.

A little personal goal for next year is to get my weekends back to spend more time with my family. 💕 Because of this, I’ll be introducing a Monday afternoon class, with the hope of gradually phasing out our Sunday morning sessions.

Think of decoding as “cracking the code” - using letter sounds to read words. Encoding is the reverse, hearing sounds and choosing the right letters to write down.

These skills help children become confident readers, accurate spellers, and independent writers. A strong foundation with sounds and letters makes future literacy learning so much easier! 💛

Yesterday, we made our own flashcards to help practice our decoding and blending skills at home. As we created them, we also worked on important fine motor skills such as holding scissors correctly, cutting carefully, and gluing pieces together. These are all valuable skills that support children’s readiness for school and helps to build confidence in everyday classroom tasks. 💫
