March 31st was the date of our second annual GRS Quiz Night.
We ended up with a tie for 2nd and 3rd place with "A Tense(less) Situation" winning by a hair in a hard-fought tie-breaker round.

Our final 3MT divisional heat was held Thursday 24th. 12 excellent contestants from a range of science disciplines shared their research with us and it was a tough decision for the judges.

Thank you to Assoc. Prof Katherine Black and Prof. Crid Fraser for being on the judging panel.
Results were:
Masters winner: Charlie Boocock-Yee, runner up Amelia Wilson
Doctoral winner: Katie Buschang, runner up Kane Cocker

Today's Commerce 3MT heat provided lots to think about with 8 wonderful presentations from Doctoral students. Thank you to Professors Lisa McNeill and Brent Lovelock who judged today's event along with GRS's Dr Nick Baker.

This morning's 3MT Health Science Heat was strongly contested with Brooke Morrison winning the Master's section and Elijah Atta Manu winning the Doctoral prize.

Runners up were Emma Managh (master’s) and Vaishnavi Yeleswarapu.

A big thank you to judges Associate Professor Ailsa McGregor (Associate dean, research) and Dr Manon Knapen.
