This morning let's shine a light on one of our wonderful Year 13 role models and leaders, Josh White! This past weekend Josh was presented with the Grand Prior's Award at the South Island Hato Hone St John Award Ceremony.

This is one of the highest honours which a youth member of Hato Hone St John can attain and to do so Josh has had to complete many different tasks including 100 hours of community service. KVC is super proud of Josh! πŸ’šβ€πŸ˜ƒ

Earlier this week our wonderful college community had a fantastic evening hosting the many families who took up the opportunity to look around our campus during KVC's 2026 Open Evening. We would like to thank everyone who attended; we loved showing off our college to you!

If you would like a more personal look around our campus we'd love to welcome you back for a one-on-one tour with one of KVC's Senior Leaders, at a time that suits you. Please reach out to our reception who will be happy to help organise this.

If you're ready to take the next step towards becoming part of KVC's community, you can complete your enrolment online here:

Here at KVC we are so excited to share news that Devine Talosaga Felise Emelio, one of our Year 12 leaders and role models, has earned a place in the National Top 20 of the Smokefree Tangata Beats Quest!

This competition explores and celebrates the ways Māori and Pacific identities, cultures, styles, actions, flavours and topics can be woven into contemporary music through writing, language and sound. It is a huge achievement and we are all so very proud of Devine who finds out this coming Friday whether she will become a National Finalist! πŸ’šβ€πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒ
