Several of our building surveyors attended the New Zealand Institute of Building Surveyors - NZIBS March Training Day over the weekend, and the feedback they gave was very positive. Our regular involvement with these events helps us stay abreast of the latest developments in our industry, so we can continue to provide our clients with the most up-to-date knowledge and innovations.

We have something for everyone at the 2023 NZIBS Annual Conference. This year our theme is "Keeping Connected".
One of the ways we stay connected is through Communication - Robin McNeill, CEO, Space Ops NZ will show us how and where satellites provide essential telecommunications during and after extreme weather events and other calamities.

Dr Phillip Hartley, Senior Associate, Salmon Reed Architects will be sharing his knowledge and experience of Heritage Building projects. Heritage buildings help to give people a sense of identity and connection to their past.

Frances Neeson, Engineering Geologist has titled her presentation "Moving Mountains to Reconnect Communities" as she talks through the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake and how her geotechnical team worked to re-establish this vital national road.

Watch this space for more information on our other presenters, or visit the link in our bio for more information on the the conference. All welcome. Join us in Sunny Nelson from 21 - 23 September 2023.
