"We built a city". Learning through play allows children time and space to work at their own level and pace, using their imagination and practicing skills. Great effort. π

Along with many other kindergarten associations, Dunedin Kindergartens will close all kindergartens in response to NZEIβs intention of strike action on Thursday 16th March. We recognise and respect the process of employment negotiation and regret the inconvenience this might cause for families. Weβll welcome children back to kindergarten on Friday 17th March.

We value learning through play π. Imagining, inventing, experimenting.........making roads, rivers, mountains and holes creates a fun space for monster trucks to get stuck. Bring in the diggers and spades. Working alongside others supports positive relationships π

We have 7 baby chicks visiting us at kindergarten this week. We are learning how to care for them, keeping them clean, watered and well fed. We are practicing being gentle, kind quiet and patient. π
