We’re recruiting a Kaiwhakahaere Māori to join Sport Manawatū in a part-time role supporting hauora and wellbeing for tamariki and strengthening connections with whānau, kura, hapū and iwi across the Manawatū.
This role works closely with Māori-medium kura, Te Rōpū Māori, staff and leadership to connect physical activity with hauora, education and aspirations, while supporting our ongoing growth as a genuine Te Tiriti partner.
If you are grounded in Te Ao Māori, values-led, and motivated to turn whakaaro into action, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact.
Applications close 5pm Friday 20 February 2026.
