📣 Applications for the 2026 Ana Sokratov Scholarship are now OPEN!

The Ana Sokratov Scholarship supports Māori with lived or living experience of hauora hinengaro (mental health) and/or substance recovering (AOD) who are pursuing, or planning to pursue, a study pathway in 2026.

The scholarship honors the legacy of Ana Hinerangi Sokratov, a respected leader, advocate and champion for Māori lived experience, who served on the inaugural Trust Board of Te Rau Matatini, now Te Rau Ora. Her mahi helped strengthen the recognition of lived experience as a valued voice within hauora.

To be eligible, applicants must:

-Be Māori
-Have lived or living experience of hauora hinengaro and/or substance use recovery (AOD)
-Be undertaking study in 2026
