⭐️ Royal Academy of Dance Exams 2026⭐️

Last Friday and Saturday, 31 of our dancers proudly sat their annual Royal Academy of Dance Royal Academy of Dance NZ examinations.

Despite illness, freezing temperatures, bereavements and plenty of other challenges, every dancer showed up, worked incredibly hard, and demonstrated outstanding determination, resilience, and dedication to their craft.

We are so proud of each and every one of you for reaching this milestone and working towards an internationally recognised qualification. No matter the outcome, you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves—you are all stars! ✨

A HUGE thank you to our amazing teachers Miss Lotte lotte charles , Miss Flo Florentina Charles and Miss Charli Charli Maley for your unwavering support, encouragement, and dedication in preparing our students for their exams. Your passion and commitment make all the difference, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our studio family. You are absolute legends! ❤️

Congratulations to all of our dancers—we can’t wait to celebrate your achievements when the results arrive! 🌟🩰

Also a special mention to my sister Roosje Charles, my lovely mother Patricia Polderman-Charles and my wonderful husband Patrick Pieters for help with the flooring, transport, childcare and so much more - it truly is a family effort and I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without you all 🥰

Some highlights from our 2026 Exam Showcase! ✨🩰

Our showcase combined selected pieces of our RAD exam work with some of this year’s competition repertoire, giving our dancers the opportunity to share all of their hard work with family and friends.

Every single dancer performed beautifully, and we couldn’t be prouder of their effort, determination, and dedication. Watching their love of dance shine through is something truly special.

Also a huge thank you to dance mum Judy for capturing the dancers so beautifully despite the challenging lighting - I love them so much!

A huge thank you to our incredible teachers, who have poured their hearts into nurturing and inspiring each student. Your passion and commitment make all the difference.

Now it’s on to the final preparations as we count down to our RAD Royal Academy of Dance NZ exams in just two weeks! We can’t wait to see our dancers shine. 💙

✨ Our Mummy & Me Class is Back! ✨

Ready to wiggle, twirl, jump and play? 💕 Our Mummy & Me Dance class is the perfect first dance experience for little ones under 3 years!

Each week is filled with music, movement, and plenty of fun as we explore with bubbles 🫧, ribbons 🎀, scarves 🌈, musical instruments 🥁, obstacle courses 🤸, and lots more exciting props to spark imagination and keep your little one engaged.

While having a wonderful time together, your toddler will be developing:
🎵 Musicality and rhythm
💃 Coordination and balance
🌟 Confidence and creativity
🤍 Social skills and a love of movement

It’s also a beautiful opportunity to spend quality one-on-one time together while making new friends in a warm and welcoming environment.
