Goodness.. some of you are going great guns, well done! Some of you need to catch up if you want to be in with a chance at the auction :) :)

The Prize Auction Photo Album is now displayed on our page. Go into this to view all the prizes that will be up for auction. Have a think about how you will use your LIBcoins to bid for these prizes.

There will be more info on this closer to the time. Keep the date and time free. You will need to have access to a device/computer at this time to be able to bid on the prizes on our facebook ReAD To WIN Page.

Go to the ReAD TO WIN Auction Prize Album to view all prizes.

Auction to be held on Wednesday 24th January 3pm sharp.
Location: Tararua ReAD To WIN page.

Each prize will be posted separately. Place your bid in the comments section.

Auction length will be 5 minutes per item, at which point, the auctioneer will comment "CLOSED".

Highest bidder wins. Winner's name will be displayed in the comments section of each item.

There will be at least a 2 minute break between each prize auction.

Auctioneer's decision is final.

Helllloooo.. pretty quiet out there. We are in the process of creating a private group event for our LIBcoin Prize Auction. Some cool prizes to be won, remember - the more points you earn, the more bidding power you will have. Make the most of these last few days to accumulate more LIBcoins by completing the challenges, and reporting in on books read. Cut-off for report-ins/challenges Friday 19th Jan, 4.30pm.

Remember the more LIBcoins you earn, the more bidding power you will have in the online auction. We will be posting photos of all the prizes later this week, and sending invites to you all to our Private Event (Auction) on Facebook.

Challenge # 6 - Have you ever read a book so good and got to the end and wished there was a sequel? Now here is your chance to write a blurb on a sequel to that book. It needs to be a stand alone book (ie not part of a series). We require 3 paragraphs in order to earn these points. If you need any ideas on how to write a book blurb, there are some good examples on the internet.. Or click on a book in our library catalogue to see their blurb.
