Important when entering:
If a player is Year 4 or younger, please include this in the entry notes during the online entry process.

Some junior players may not yet have a Tennis NZ player code allocated. If families have any difficulty completing an entry, they are welcome to contact Wairarapa Tennis ([email protected]), and we can help.

We’re looking forward to another great couple of days of school tennis and hope to see plenty of players from across the Wairarapa involved.

Here is a snapshot of the fun Waihakeke & Whetu classes shared during the bilingual storytime session at the Carterton library yesterday. We had so much fun listening to the stories & singing the waiata together with Whaea Louise. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us.

Waihakeke and Whetu Classes have just had a special visit from Quintin Pope, one of Carterton Library's awesome storytellers. He brought songs, stories and fabulous Tonka Trucks to share with us, to support our current inquiry work about simple machines. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to when we go to visit the library in a few weeks' time.

What a wonderful way to begin Term 3 at Dalefield School today.

Our morning started with a special Mihi Whakatau to welcome everyone back for the new term, and to formally welcome our newest staff member, Chloe Nobilo, who joins us as our New Entrant teacher. We also extended a warm Dalefield welcome to the new tamariki and whānau who have recently become part of our school community.

We were also delighted to celebrate the blessing and opening of our new student support space – a calm and nurturing space designed to support the wellbeing and learning of our students. It was wonderful to see this exciting addition officially opened and blessed.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this morning so special. It was a celebration of whanaungatanga, new beginnings, and the continued growth of our school community.

We are looking forward to a fantastic Term 3 together.
