The day has come - our new playground equipment finally arrived from overseas and has been installed!
The tamariki loved playing on the new pieces - drums, piano, an excavator in the sand pit, a spinner and very fittingly, ram and sheep springers!
We hope you come down and make use of the new gear!
Special thanks to Central Lakes Trust for their generous donation towards our playground upgrades! We couldn't have done it without you.

Thanks so much to Rotary Club of Wanaka for supplying our 5 year olds with Literacy packs for home! These packs are full of books and resources to help tamariki learn and as each new learner starts, they'll receive a pack too! Such a great initiative - we're grateful!

Time and time again we are blown away by the generosity and support from our community! This time, on Friday night Scott Worthington kindly premiered his adventure films to a captivated audience at the Tarras Church.
It was incredible to see the places he has visited, the things he saw and the challenges he had to overcome with nothing but share resilience and strength! Thank you to all those that purchased a ticket - I'm sure you all enjoyed every minute of it.
Scott generously donated all the proceeds from the ticket sales to the school as well as his own personal contribution. Because of his incredible kindness, we raised $2000.90!!!
These funds, plus the School Produce Stall funds from December and January will be used to purchase a much needed drinking fountain! How good!
Thanks Scott for helping us, Paul and Antonia for their organisational skills and the Tarras Church for letting us use the beautiful space.

The stall is full to the brim with school grown plums, lettuces, courgettes, potatoes, peas and tomatoes!
We've also got cherry jam (thanks Wanda), cucumbers (thanks Rutherfords) and cherries (thanks Joff)!
Be sure to pop down before it's all gone!
The kids new fundraising goal is a milking shed for the farm!

Today, before our Production rehearsals, we got to visit our local fire brigade to see Matt, Al and Scott. They took us on a tour of their station, showed us how everything works, let us sit in the truck and listen to the sirens!
We're so fortunate to have a fire brigade full of great Tarras people, ready to protect and help us if we ever need.
Great mahi Tarras Volunteer Fire Brigade! 🙌
