A beautiful week of fun and connection at preschool ☀️🌿

We enjoyed the sunshine, gathered around the fire on the beach to cook damper, built shelters in the ngahere, celebrated Oakland’s 5th birthday 🎂, and spent some special time hanging out with our preschool whānau. So many happy moments, adventures and memories made together. ❤️

Head Teacher/Centre Manager (Part-Time Permanent)

Colville Bay Pre-school is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Teacher to manage our centre and lead teaching practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled kaiako ready to join a supportive, community pre-school.

🌿 About the Role
As our HeadTeacher, you would:
- Ensure high-quality teaching aligned with Te Whāriki
- Build strong, respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and the wider community
- Manage the day-to-day running of the centre, including compliance and ratios.

🌱We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised ECE qualification and has a a current Teaching Council practising certificate
- Has management skills
- Demonstrates a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Is community-focused and values strong whānau connections
- Is passionate about nature-based learning.
