Rodger Fox is one of the most renowned names in jazz music in New Zealand.

For us drummers, Rodger was responsible for bring the world's top drummers to NZ to play with his amazing Rodger Fox Big Band. Also the drummers would put on clinics.

Rodger was super generous to Christchurch Drum Studios, giving us special deals and always being generous with his time to help get our students to see these clinics.

He was a celebrated trombonist, bandleader, and educator who has significantly contributed to the jazz scene in New Zealand and internationally. Fox has led the Rodger Fox Big Band for decades, bringing jazz to a wide audience through performances, recordings, and educational programs. His dedication to the genre and his influence on both musicians and audiences have made him a pivotal figure in New Zealand's jazz history.

Limited number of slots left throughout the week Monday-Friday between 3:30 - 7:30pm get in touch to see if we can match a time to suit your schedule.
