BAKING WITH LITTLE HELPERS👩🏼‍🍳🧑🏻‍🍳

We love the process of baking at nursery, it is so much more than making something yummy to share at morning or afternoon Kai times. Baking is about working together, taking turns, building confidence, exploring new ideas and creating a sense of community as we measure, pour and mix!
We also love to taste test the different ingredients as make our yummy creations!!!

Sensory tray play- Simple, safe, and full of opportunities to explore! 🌿🫧

Setting up a sensory play table for pēpē doesn’t have to be complicated. At nursery we like to offer a variety of textures, colours, sounds, and natural materials that encourage little hands to investigate at their own pace.

Winter means lots more sensory experiences provided inside for our tamariki. Our nursery kaiako ensure that we are providing tamariki with learning opportunities that follow their current learning and interests.

PRIMARY CAREGIVING

An important aspect of our Nursery is our Primary Caregiving.
Children here are allocated a primary kaiako who will ensure all your child’s daily needs and care are met. We also provide communication books for children under 1, as another form of communication between primary caregiver and whanau. A special connection between centre and home. We believe in creating strong and meaningful relationships with children/ whanau and believe this is one of the ways in doing so.
