What an incredible weekend for St Bede's College!

Congratulations to the Bedean Choir for winning the "Christchurch Liedertafel Male Voice Choir Award for an outstanding recital performance by a lower voice choir" at the Big Sing Regionals 2024. Plus, a big shout out also to the Haizy’s for securing 2nd place at the Rockquest on Saturday night!

We couldn’t be more proud of these two groups, who have dedicated so much time and effort to achieve these fantastic results. Well done!


Congratulations to The Haizy's who have been selected for The Canterbury Regional Rockquest Final! They are one of 16 bands chosen out of the 67 bands that competed in the heats!


Great to see our very own James Grant (year 10) featuring alongside his brother and old boy of St Bede's, Angus Grant (head boy of 2020) on Seven Sharp. Great article and very inspiring young men!


We look forward to welcoming you to our annual Open Day. See you there!

Current student Sonny Ifopo and Old Boy of the College Lopeti Sumner are very lucky to be part of the crew sailing Hinemoana from Kaiteriteri to Lyttelton this week! Over the weekend our Senior Touch team competed in the South Island Secondary Schools Tournament held at Sheldon Park. Coming off the back of a strong finish to 2023 the boys competed well finishing 3rd overall.

Rowing Finals

Water Polo - From tomorrow two senior teams are competing at the South Island Secondary Schools Tournament at Jellie Park

Mountain Biking - 15 Students will be competing at Coronet Peak from tomorrow. We have a range of students entered into Down Hill, Enduro & Cross Country.

Golf - 17 Students will be competing in the Canterbury Golf Championship on Monday 25th at Mcleans Island. They will all be competing in teams and playing Stableford.

Athletics - On Tuesday 26th (All day) and Thursday 28th (Evening) 37 students will be competing at the Canterbury Secondary Schools Athletics Championships at Nga Puna Wai.
