Our Year 1s put on a great match playing against each other, and to top it off, the boys helped pack up the field at the end without even being asked!

The speaker for Term 3's MedX Talk was Mr Ben Bateman, the CEO of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu. Having a varied and interesting career in service leadership, Ben captured the boys’ imagination by identifying some of his own key character and leadership lessons and mapping them against our own Medbury values.

In the weekend, our two Year 2 teams went head-to-head in an awesome match of Rugby.
We loved seeing the amazing sportsmanship, non-stop effort, and big smiles from both sides!

Congratulations to Clyde House on winning another term! 🦁

Term 2 saw the boys claim another House victory through a fantastic combination of earning House points and House tokens, winning House competitions, and consistently keeping their designated area around the school clean and tidy.

It has been incredible to see the pride and enthusiasm the boys have shown in supporting their House this year. Their commitment, teamwork, and school spirit have created a truly strong and united group.

A special mention goes to our co-leaders, Fletcher and Archer, who have done an outstanding job leading the House. They have encouraged everyone to get involved, supported their fellow Clyde members, and set a wonderful example through their leadership.

We can't wait to see what our boys can achieve this term as we prepare for the Music Extravaganza.

National Champions!

Congratulations to our Medbury boys on an outstanding performance at the New Zealand Schools Go Karting Championships.

We are delighted to share that Medbury won the National Schools Primary/Intermediate Trophy, a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the boys' skill, determination and teamwork.

Special congratulations to:

Teddy, who won the New Zealand Schools National Title with a 1st-place finish.
Will Miller, who finished an impressive 5th.
Freddie Waller, who also achieved an excellent 5th-place finish in his racing class.

Junior School Sport was back in full swing this afternoon. The boys are learning football skills, and enjoying games. It’s House vs House!

Max Dodds has just been named in the Under-14 New Zealand Indoor Cricket Team. Following an outstanding performance at the Junior Provincial Championships, he has earned the incredible honour of wearing the Silver Fern on the international stage.

He will be heading to Pretoria, South Africa, in just 10 weeks to compete against the world’s best junior players at the WICF Junior World Series.

Every week, Medbury School ākonga join us at Christ's College for Workshop Technology, making the most of our specialist facilities and the expertise of Head of Workshop Technology Carey Prebble.

It's a fantastic opportunity for the boys to develop practical skills and enjoy hands-on learning, while continuing the close relationship between our two schools.
