Bishop Michael led a beautiful Mīha Māori (Māori Mass) for our school and community yesterday. It was the first full Mīha for a whole primary school in this diocese. It looks and sounds different and is a unique experience. Lots of our 30 students of Māori descent, were involved with responsibilities.
Thanks to him for this and visiting our school after.

I ārahi a Pīhopa Michael i tētahi Mīha Māori ātaahua mō tō tātou kura me te hapori inanahi. Koinei te Mīha tuatahi mō te kura tuatahi katoa o tēnei pīhopataka. He rerekē te āhua me te taki o te Mīha nei, he wheako ahurei hoki. Tokomaha tamariki Māori o te 30 i konei, i te āwhina inanahi. Nei te mihi ki a ia i tēnei, i te toro hoki ki tō tātou kura.
