Some lovely results from yesterday’s gas firing as we opened the door this afternoon. It was an eventful ~12 hour day with problematic pyrometers and gas pressure issues but we got there!.. Firing led by Sarah Geary, assisted by Ngarita Wight, Gabrielle Amodeo and Strange Ceramics. Not sure if all the makers so please feel free to tag your work!

Glorious variety of work on the shelves at the moment, always nice to see what everyone is up to!

A special edition of Trish’s Turquoise is available for use at the club now, in memory of our dear friend and ex-president Trish Morant.

As well as our AGM on Sunday, of one of our members Michael Michaels Michael Michaels is opening an exhibition with his sister Susan Endres! All welcome.

It's that time of year again! CPAs Annual General Meeting is happening next Sunday, 12pm at the clubrooms.

Nominations are now open for the committee so please consider yourself or someone else for a nomination.

Matariki raku firing was a success. Thanks to everyone for participating.

Happening in our clay community, the Mt Pleasant Pottery Group are welcoming members of the public to their annual Matariki Pottery Exhibition.

The Exhibition is open to all from 10am - 3pm on 11 and 12 July (Matariki Weekend) and the following weekend 18 and 19 July.

The Exhibition is a showcase of the best and most interesting ceramic work produced by their club members and features work from their guest exhibitor,  Royce McGlashen.

CPA are excited to celebrate Matariki with a special raku firing. Come along to the clubrooms this Friday to join or observe.
