๐๐ An Amazing Day in Kaikลura! ๐๐
What an incredible day out in beautiful Kaikลura with our Year 13 Business students on their Business Field Trip to the amazing Kaikลura Whale Watching company! ๐๐
We had the opportunity to learn about the incredible history and journey of an iconic New Zealand tourism business, which celebrates 40 years in 2026.
From humble beginnings to becoming a world-renowned tourism experience, it was inspiring to hear how innovation, technology, passion and a strong connection to the natural environment have helped shape their success.
The students gained a valuable insight into what it takes to build and grow a successful business, while also seeing first-hand how technology and innovation can be used to create memorable experiences and share an incredible story with visitors from around the world. ๐๐ก
Of course, no Kaikลura trip would be complete without enjoying a local favourite โ fish and chips! ๐๐
Then it was time to hit the water and experience the breathtaking beauty of Mother Nature. We were incredibly lucky to witness three s***m whale sightings, multiple humpback whales making their annual migration north, along with plenty of seals and incredible birdlife. ๐๐๐๐ฆญ๐ฆ
A truly unforgettable day filled with learning, adventure, business insights and some very special moments on the water. ๐๐
