Te Puna Waiora o Hereora / Breens Intermediate works closely with Mana Ake. Mana Ake provides support to children in Canterbury, in years 1-8 at school, promoting wellbeing and positive mental health. They can support children at school and at home and provide advice, guidance and workshops for parents, whฤnau and teachers.
Mana Ake will be running appointment based DropIns at Breens Intermediate School on Thursday 5th December and Thursday 12th December for parents and whฤnau who have concerns about their child's wellbeing or mental health. Our Mana Ake kaimahi, Ashleigh, will be running these sessions.
There will be four time slots available each day; 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, 3:30. To make an appointment please email Sandra - [email protected] with your name, date and time preferences.
Alternatively, if you are unable to come to a DropIn and would like to get a phone call from Ashleigh regarding your child, you can email Sandra (at the email above) with your name and contact details and they will be passed on to Ashleigh.
Mana Ake - Stronger for Tomorrow Mana Ake focuses on early intervention to promote wellbeing and positive mental health and support for teachers, families and whฤnau when children are experiencing ongoing issues that are impacting their wellbeing.
