The Mt Pleasant Pottery Group was established in 1960, our members prominently from the eastern suburbs but stretch as far as the Canterbury Plains. We have potters whose skills range from those who are experienced and nationally recognised through to those just discovering the joys of playing with clay.

We are thrilled to have Diana Aleiva as our potter of the month this September. Our preview event is this Sunday , September 6th from 3-4 pm at the Gallery, where we will have drinks and nibbles giving you the opportunity to meet Diana, hear about her journey as a potter and view her collection of work that is for sale 🪴. Located next door to our club rooms , 141 Main Rd. Redcliffs 🌈.

Come join us on Aug 11th , from 6-7 pm , Tuesday evening at our Gallery , 140 Main Rd. Redcliffs , right next door to our club rooms . Shona will be showcasing her beautiful pottery , garden themed 🪴 just in time for spring ! This is also a time to meet Shona and find out what her journey has been like, what inspires her and how she approaches clay 🍀.

Our potter gallery is back open , every weekend from 11-3 pm . Main Road , Redcliffs. 🍀 Valerie Crichton has a beautiful selection of new work , her jewellery is an example of how well ceramics sit within the frame of this art form . Her aesthetic is unique and modern , elegant and charming 🌿 considered and functional.
