We finished the term off in style today by celebrating all of the different cultures in our Kura, and we had so much fun! Thanks to all of our families who supported us, either with bringing down delicious foods or getting their tamariki dressed in their special outfits, representing their culture. Thanks to Mrs Morris and Mrs Robertson for all of their mahi coordinating this special event.

Check out our teachers hard at work this afternoon, planning a term's worth of exciting science lessons for our tamariki. Our focus next term is Planet Earth and Beyond as well as the Material World. Going to be lots of fun, while we develop our kids Science Capabilities.

We had a fantastic day today; you could say it was a spectacular double whammy! Firstly we were all dressed in red to raise money for Heart Kids NZ, then of course it was athletics day! A huge thanks to our whānau who came down to cheer on and support their tamariki, and a big, big thanks to our staff for their energy in making sure the day ran smoothly. Lastly a massive thanks to Miss Sarah Dolan and Mrs Hannah Driver for coordinating and organising such a brilliant day! Here are a few pics from the day.

We were all really sad to see the fantastic Keri and Harold from the Life Education team leave today, but we had a wonderful time with them this week learning a whole bunch of positive strategies to support us to become awesome human beings. Here are a few pics - more to come next week. A huge thanks to Mrs Sharon Alabaster for organising this for our Kura.

It was fantastic to see so many of our whānau at school today for the Cranford and Winter hui. It was awesome to celebrate the impressive mahi that has been going on over the past seven weeks especially the Kindness Challenge. I was extremely proud of all of the tamariki who shared their learning and I was also very impressed with all of those who helped host, as it takes a lot of courage to speak in front of a big audience!

Today we had an awesome opportunity to send many of our year five and six girls to Hagley Park to participate in the Girls Smash Cricket Challenge. They played three rounds with eight overs each. The girls had a fantastic day out playing cricket in the sunshine and did our school extremely proud ! They were even lucky enough to come away with some merch -cool shirts, stickers and wrist bands. Some future White ferns right there! Thanks to Miss Sarah Dolan for organising and our wonderful parents who were able to go along and support.
