📚 Recently some of our wonderful Kea room tamariki went on another fun excursion to Riccarton Primary! The sun was shining as they departed in the morning, and they enjoyed a lovely walk, once at the school they joined in with the class and got to try out all the cool activities! Thank you so much for having us, we truly appreciate the opportunity to have you as part of our school readiness programme!

Last night, we had our first ever ENGAGE whānau evening, here at the center! We loved getting to connect with our whānau after hours and share a little of what we have been bringing into our teachings lately. A great big thank you to all those who could attend, and a huge thank you to our wonderful ENGAGE facilitator, Fiona, who delivered her presentation in such a fun, engaging way!

🎨 Various forms of arts and crafts are essential for fine motor skills, they provide a beautiful introduction into learning how to hold and use a pencil for school. Art also provides tamariki with a creative outlet for self expression and communication, we love art in our Pūkeko room and it can be seen daily, in so many different forms!🎨

🇮🇳We are lucky enough to have so many wonderful different cultures here with us at preschool, we have been encouraging an exploration of culture by using baskets filled with fun books, photos and resources. Our tamariki have been confidently showing and sharing their cultural explorations with their hoa and its wonderful to see!🇮🇳

We have recently received some beautiful feedback from our whānau, and this piece truly captures the heart of what makes our centre so special 🐝🧡
Creating a place where children feel safe, supported, encouraged, and genuinely loved is at the centre of everything we do. We are so grateful to be trusted as part of each child’s learning journey and to be part of our wider village alongside our families.
To our amazing whānau - thank you for your kind words, trust, and support. It means the world to our team and reminds us every day why we do what we do ✨
