Super Star Jessica !

Today we are shining the spotlight on our amazing nursery kaiako, Jessica! Mercella Sun

Jessica has been a much-loved part of our Avonhead whānau for nearly 7 years and with her heart of gold, caring nature, and always-ready-to-help attitude, Jessica is someone we can all rely on.

She has also worked at many of our sister centres in South and North, She is always busy behind the scenes, making sure everything is organised, running smoothly, and that everyone has what they need. Whether she is helping the tamariki, supporting our teaching team, or jumping in wherever she is needed, Jessica is always on the go.
Her warm personality, infectious energy, and genuine care for everyone around her make Jessica such a special part of our centre. We are so grateful for everything she does for our tamariki and whānau!

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, stepdads, grandfathers, and fatherly figures in our community!
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to our special afternoon Aihe on the Move session today. Seeing our whānau together moving, laughing, and connecting made the afternoon so special.
Our tamariki and team have been working hard behind the scenes to create some very special gifts for you all, we hope you love them as much as they loved making them!

It has been a wonderfully busy month for our tamariki and kaiako!

We started by diving into the magic of Book Week, followed by raising funds for a great cause on Daffodil Day. Now, we are fully immersed in making special preparations for Father's Day.

Everyone has been working so hard on a wide range of fun, creative activities. We are so proud of our tamariki for their energy, enthusiasm, and hard work all month long!

Our Kea group is having an amazing time exploring space through hands-on activities and fun problem-solving challenges!

The children are loving learning all about the sun, the planets, and how our solar system works. It has been wonderful to watch them work together as a team, share ideas, and build their curiosity about the universe.

Our Kea group(School readiness) tamariki had their termly excursion to Primary today. They explored how the school work and were also super excited to see their peers who recently started their primary journey.
