PTSD is a real thing for mother's breastfeeding....

keep an eye and ear out for courses that are free, PIPS did one recently that was about CPR infant/child and choking infant/child.
and i know for breastfeeding mothers there is breastfeeding peer counsellor that i think is through te pua waitanga. there are many groups around.

if you get stuck or need some help let me know and i will try anyway i can.

Hey everyone so I just wanted to give an update on what has been happening.

If you have a newborn or you are expecting then there is some help for you out there if you choose to ask. don't have to go out and buy everything new just not worth the 5k+ so if you don't already know this organisation they are called PIPS out in New Brighton Christchurch. They help with loaning out baby equipment to having baby clothes up to 1year.

To make it a bonus, if you need any help they will direct you on the right path.

I just have to express this.
There is a lot of mother's out there who have PTSD, don't be ashamed about that.(I was and it almost broke me) get help, don't shut out the ones who love you, don't shut out the ones trying to help you. You can over come it.
I ask a lot of mother's what is there worth,there purpose... BE HAPPY FOR YOU SO THAT YOUR KIDS ARE HAPPY. Have time out when your kids have time out. Your life is different now it not just about you. DEEP DOWN YOU LOVE THEM MORE THAN YOU LOVE YOURSELF, so be happy, be silly.
