Located within a beautiful Villa in the heart of Merivale, we use the gorgeous environment to provide a stunning home away from home for your children. At FUNdamentals we believe in providing the building blocks for success in learning. This comes through creating habits of the children’s mind that inspire them to want and need to learn all the time.These foundations are established in the formative years (0-6years of age). The way to achieve a successful framework is to provide, right from the start, a stimulating, challenging, exciting and fun environment that will assist the children to develop their natural abilities through individual and collective learning opportunities. The environment at FUNdamentals Preschools & Nursery provides children with opportunities to take charge of their own learning, to become risk takers and grow, learn and discover with their friends. FUNdamentals provide for low ratios being 1 teacher to every 4 children in the nursery and 1 teacher to every 8 children in the preschool.

🇪🇸 Learning Spanish

How lucky are we to have three lovely girls from Rangi Ruru join us on Wednesday afternoons to teach us some Spanish! 💛

Last Wednesday, we were building our confidence with counting in Spanish through a fun game of Sneak Up Granny!

Our friends had so much fun trying to creep closer and closer without getting caught! 🤫👣

A big thank you to our wonderful Rangi Ruru girls for sharing your language knowledge with us and making learning Spanish so much fun! 🌟

Watching our friends learn from one another, care for one another and grow alongside each other is such a beautiful part of our preschool community.

Our preschool friends naturally step into roles of encouragement, guidance and support, while our nursery friends look up to them, learn from them and build confidence through these meaningful connections.

These relationships create a sense of belonging, connection and manaakitanga

The little moments of helping, sharing, teaching, comforting and simply being together are the moments that build strong relationships and lifelong learning.
