Join this upcoming event to learn how the World Bank Treasury Summer Internship can fast-track your goals.

We will provide firsthand insights on the internship experience, why you should apply and how to successfully navigate the application process.

About the World Bank Treasury:

About the Summer Internship:

The 2027 Summer Internship is a 10-week, full-time, paid program in Washington, D.C. designed for college students in their second-to-final/penultimate year.

Interns complete three 3-week rotations across core teams: Capital Markets, Asset Management, Financial Solutions and Pension Investments, gaining hands-on financial experience, dedicated mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership.

The program also serves as a direct pipeline to full-time Junior Analyst roles upon graduation.

About the Presenter:

Elijah Hughes is an Economics undergraduate at The Australian National University and a recent Summer Analyst with the World Bank Group Treasury in Washington, D.C.

Bringing a foundation in economic policy and consulting, Elijah has previously held roles at the Australian Treasury, EY-Parthenon, and Deloitte.

Join us for an engaging industry guest speaker session with Matt Salehzadeh, Senior Project Manager at One NZ, who will share practical insights into project management in today's business environment.

MIP connects students with career-related internships across New Zealand, helping build valuable experience, confidence, and professional networks.

The programme offers paid placements lasting 4-12 weeks, with ongoing support throughout the application process and internship journey. Internships are fully funded through the Ministry of Social Development, meaning there is no cost to participating employers.
