Kidditech Early Learning Centre

As part of our Mini Masters Project, our tamariki have been creating a "How to Look After Ourselves" poster!

Together, we explored all the important ways we can care for ourselves each day, including:
🪥 Brushing our teeth
🧼 Washing our bodies
🥗 Eating healthy foods
💧 Drinking water
😴 Getting enough rest
👕 Dressing ourselves
❤️ Sun Protection and more...

Through discussions, artwork, and shared ideas, the children helped create a poster that reminds us all how important self-care is. This project encourages independence, confidence, and healthy habits that will support our tamariki for years to come.

🌟 Mini Masters at Kidditech 🌟

This term, our children have been taking part in our Mini Masters Project—a special focus on developing the everyday skills that help build confidence, independence, and resilience.

From learning how to dress themselves, care for their belongings, and practise self-care routines, to identifying their names, strengthening pencil grip, and showing kindness and consideration for others, our tamariki are mastering important life skills every day.

These seemingly small achievements are powerful milestones that support children to become capable, confident learners both at Kidditech and beyond. We are so proud of the determination, growth, and independence we are seeing across our centre!

This hands-on activity encouraged children to recognise and write their names while strengthening their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and letter formation. Using paintbrushes on a larger surface (the path) gave our tamariki the opportunity to practise control, concentration, and confidence in a fun and creative way.

Learning is exciting when it happens outside! 🌿✨
