Art At Sumner Hub operates under the umbrella of the Sumner Hub and Sumner Community Residents Association. Social engagement, education and well being is at the core of all that we do. Nikki Wallace-Bell founded Art At Sumner Hub in March of 2019. With the help of others in the community Nikki has renovated three of the rooms in the Sumner Hub. Two for clay and one that can be used for general art and craft and other gatherings. The clay rooms are fully equipped with general hand building tools, equipment and three electric wheels. The general art and craft room is multi purpose and is home to our gifted printing press. Current timetable of workshops and events:

Mon, Tues and Thurs 3.00 - 5.30pm
Tues Eve Adult Beginners Pottery 7 - 9.15pm (8wks)
Weds Eve Social Pottery 7- 9.15pm
Thurs Eve Adult Beginners Pottery 7 - 9.15pm (8 weeks)
Pottery Workshops - subsidies available for low household incomes
Sun mornings 9.15 - 1pm
Social Pottery - Run by volunteers $5 koha
Weds Eve 7.00 - 9.15pm

These run four times a year supported by CCC, SBUT and community donations. Vouchers
