Huge congratulations to all our amazing students who performed at the Tūhono Kapa Haka Festival today! You took to the stage with so much pride and passion and absolutely 'ROCKed' it and made us all so proud.

It’s a full-circle moment today at school!

A huge welcome back to Miss Taggart and our former Isleworth students visiting from Breens. They're leading some awesome PE workshops for us today (and over the next few weeks) as part of their E&E programme, and our Team Awa students are loving every minute!

What an epic day out!

Our whole school an incredible trip to Te Kaha / ONE NZ Stadium, and wow, what an amazing experience!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this trip happen, and to our awesome students for representing our school so well.

It's epic to see our next group of students training for Road Patrol! Farrington Ave can get very busy, so having dedicated students and parents helping our whānau cross safely is awesome. We truly appreciate the time you all give up to keep our community safe.

Kia ora koutou,

The sun is shining and it's absolutely EPIC to have everyone back for the start of Term 3.

A couple of important reminders as we kick off the term:

Mid-Year Whānaungatanga Hui
Optional Early Finish (1:30 pm): Please ensure you have completed the survey to let us know if you will be able to collect your child at 1:30 pm OR if your child will need to stay at school to attend an alternate supervised programme.

Please note, we are not allowing students to scooter, walk, or bike home by themselves until 3:00 pm. If an early departure arrangement has been made, prior communication to your child's whānau teacher is required.

Students staying until 3:00 pm can be collected from Matatiki (our school hall).

Hui Bookings and Details
These meetings are a fantastic chance to discuss your child's progress, celebrate their achievements, and set goals for the rest of the year.

Dates: Tuesday 21st July & Wednesday 22nd July

Booking: Please log directly into the Hero app to select and secure your interview time slot.

Mihi Whakatau
We warmly invite all new students, staff, and whānau to a Mihi Whakatau. This special welcome will take place on Friday 24th July at 9:30 am (please note the slightly later start than normal).

Where to go: Students new to Te Kura o Te Mātāpuna Isleworth School will be sent to the staffroom by their teachers at 9:20 am. They can meet up with whānau here, and Raywyn Wright (our Deputy Principal) will brief everyone on the ceremony.

After the ceremony: Whānau are warmly invited to return to the staffroom for some kai and a catch-up.

♥ We absolutely love to see schools that receive our Full Bellies lunches get behind us and show their support like Isleworth primary has done recently.

🙏 Isleworth recently held a non-uniform day to raise money for our cause, and they also held a baking drive - we had a lovely visit from head students Israel, Payton, and Zoe, and teacher Mr. Davidson, to deliver the yummy treats they collected as well as some adorable handmade cards 🥰

👉 We are so grateful for the love and effort shown by the students and staff at Isleworth - we are truly inspired by your initiative!
