CCEL Christchurch Host Families CCEL Christchurch is an English Language school based on the UC Campus. This page is for our host fa Host families are paid a weekly homestay fee.

We have new students arriving each week from all over the world for both long and short term stays. Many of our students choose to stay with a local Kiwi family while they are here. We look for host families who are warm and friendly and can provide a student with their own furnished room, breakfast and dinner on school days and all meals at the weekend. Homes need to be warm, clean and comfortable and have internet access.
