Here’s another Aquapave project completed by the team. Finished with a slate grey coloured sealer, giving it a clean, modern look while maintaining all the benefits of a permeable surface.
Aquapave is still a relatively new product in Christchurch and New Zealand, but it’s quickly becoming a fantastic option for environmentally conscious projects.
Unlike traditional concrete, Aquapave is a permeable paving system, allowing rainwater to pass directly through the surface and into a specially designed layer of drainage aggregate beneath. This helps reduce surface runoff, improves natural groundwater recharge, and assists with stormwater management.
It’s also an excellent choice for properties with established trees, as it allows water and oxygen to reach the root system more naturally than conventional hard surfaces.
As with any specialist product, the finish comes down to experience. Aquapave requires the correct techniques and timing to achieve a high-quality result, and we’re proud to be among the small number of contractors in Christchurch with the knowledge and expertise to consistently deliver that finish.
