Attention all Little Owls Grauates, we’d love to see you on Tuesday morning.

Today we said a sad but special goodbye to our wonderful kaiako Nerissa who is about to embark on a new journey ❤️

Thank you for all your hard mahi over the last 8 years Nerissa, we have watched you grow and become a great support to the Little Owls community! We wish you nothing but the best on your new journey and please come visit when you can ☺️

Kia Ora whānau

This week we will see some beautiful weather with highs of up to 28° so it’s important we work together to keep your tamariki SunSmart ☺️

In warm weather we will ensure our tamariki drink lots of water, play in the shade, are provided water play, kept cool inside and, we always have some ice blocks on hand😎

Ways that you can help us:
-apply sunscreen before you drop your child off in the morning 🧴
- packing light, spare clothes that are sunsmart. Swim rash shirts are great and are quick to dry 🩱
- bringing your child's own drink bottle each day, so that they are independently able to get a drink 💦
- ensuring your child has a sunhat 🧢

Today we said a sad but happy goodbye to our friend Evelyn. To celebrate her time here at Little Owls with us all Evelyn and her whānau bought in some kai to share 🩷 lots of yummy treats, thank you!

Your kaiako have really enjoyed getting to know you and your whānau during your time here at Little Owls and we wish you all nothing but the very best for the future.

Today the nursery tamariki had some fun playing with gloop!

Gloop is a great sensory experience as there are many concepts tamariki learn such as exploring texture, fine motor skills, and making sense of the scientific world.

Gloop is simple to make as it only requires cornflour and water, but the fun is endless 👌🏼

Tomorrow is Madeleine’s birthday however as we are closed we celebrated with her today 🎉

We sung Happy Birthday and shared an icecream together 🎶🍦
