the Brighton Gallery is back in the palms next week, 8th to 14 June.
We are having 2 free workshops.

'Zine making on Tuesday 9th June 1-3pm
Zines are a fun, easy way to share ideas and work in a printed format with writings, drawings, photos.

Painting people, Thursday 11th june 1-3pm
Put away the pencils, and straight into the paints, with a loose, rather chaotic method. Your brain will never be the same again.

The pop up in The Village Green went quite well despite the half day on Saturday.
Renee sold a couple of paintings, as did Paul Cromarty. The mosaics positively flew out the door.
Gwenda Cripps cards also sold well. We need more cards!

The Palms pop up starts on the 4th of May.
Jayna is holding mosaic workshops- completely booked out!

After our successful week in the Village green, with Madhu's mandala painting workshops, we have booked another week in the Village Green gallery in March.
We are hosting Pencil Drawing workshops on the 12th and 14th of March, basic drawing on Thursday 12th and cartooning on the 14th.
We will be back in the Village green (a double hut) in April with Sarah Lund showing us how she makes her colourful paper cut artworks, April 21.
In May we will be in The Palms, with Mosaics workshops on the 5th and 6th and a comics workshop on the 10th.

Busy, one week in four, chillaxing the rest of the time!

Saturday morning in the village Green in new Brighton.
The gallery was very busy this morning. Over 120 visitors before 1pm. Music, balloon animals, princess dresses and pampered pooches. Very festive and relaxed!

Last day for our February exhibition tomorrow. Could be a chaotic day with the bay-to-bay race finishing in Thomson park at 4pm. there are road closures. They wouldn't tell us which roads...

We are back in the Village green next month, 9th to the 15th. We will be having a drawing workshop on Saturday. Possibly one on a weekday as well if there is interest.
Learn to draw if you don't already know how. It's easy.

The duke festival is the following week. They have booked the entire Village Green.
