On this day 18 yrs ago we opened the doors to Little Explorers Preschool, after a year of hard work from myself and my supportive parents while I also juggled a new born baby, I achieved my life long dream.
Over the years we have welcomed and farewelled many families as their children journeyed through the stages of life. I am proud of all the children that we have supported to develop into confident and capable life long learners, with several going on to achieve highly in school, sports and their careers.
Over this period we have also welcomed and farewelled an amazing team of staff, with some staying in excess of 15yrs. I would like to acknowledge our present long term staff members, Ki and Donna, both who have been with our centre over 10yrs. I would like to thank your loyalty and support over this long period of time.
To the parents of today, your support and verbal acknowledgement of our centre to others is what keeps us open everyday. I’m proud of the community that our centre has developed.
The 18yrs has definitely had its challenges as a small business owner, we have coped with the earthquakes, the shooting, the snow closures, covid and also on a personal level the changes in my personal life but everyday I’m grateful of the support I receive from everyone around me and all the hard work that everyone puts in daily to ensure that our children and families are supported, nurtured and developing.
So today I would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that has been a part of Little Explorers past and present.
