Whītau School

It is exciting times at Whītau School for a number of reasons, one of those being the major school redevelopment.

Whītau School is a contributing primary school in the east of Christchurch providing ‘Focused Learning Achieving eXcellence’; with our school’s vision ‘Learning to take us places…’ and our values of Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be a Learner. All building work has been completed so students enjoy safe, state-of-the art learning spaces that are designed for 21st century learning with plans in place for landscaping and new playgrounds.

Today, we proudly raised the Samoan flag to mark the beginning of Samoan Language Week. We have many exciting activities planned throughout the week to celebrate.

Fa’afetai lava to Miss Ioane for all of her hard work in organising this special week. Your dedication is greatly appreciated.
