Welcome back to school for 2015. As you know North New Brighton School has now officially closed. It was nice to see so many familiar faces and staff at the Goal Setting meetings as part of the new Rawhiti School. For parents who have children who have transferred into the new Rawhiti School, we now have an official page that you may like to visit/like so you can keep in touch with what is happening, reminders, events, notices etc.

The digger has moved in ...
Sad day today ... last day ever for NNB students. We had a touching Poroporoaki to say farewell to the school that has meant so much to staff, students, parents and the community. We also acknowledged Brian Walkinshaw's great job as Principal for the past 4 1/2 years. It was nice to hear so many words of thanks, praise and fond memories of people's time at our school.
Noho ora mai koutou. Tena koutou katoa.

FINAL ASSEMBLY - 1.00PM - TODAY
ROY STOKES HALL
Hope to see you there
Thanks to everyone who has supported the school this year with the PTAS fundraising events. We have been able to pay for the following : Scooter racks, a new BBQ, the year 8 dinner, sausages for the wave rider day and the PTA has contributed nearly $5000 in buses for off site education and class trips! Your generosity with the recent Christmas raffle meant we had 14 baskets of goodies to give away.
Please continue your support for Rawhiti PTA in 2015 and we encourage you to consider attending the introductory meetings to hear about the ideas for the year ahead and how we can enhance the children's' opportunities and school experience in so many different ways.

Awesome day in Hanmer at the Hot Pools ... pity about the rain. Kids had a blast in the pools. Thanks to Hanmer Springs School for the bbq sausage sizzle lunch too.
Hanmer Springs Trip, Wednesday 10th December.
Students need to be at school by 7.40am. They will need to be in correct school uniform, have a good packed lunch, sunscreen, hat, water, togs, towel and a jacket.
We will be going to Hanmer rain or shine.
Looking forward to a great day.
